This is a follow up to the original RCT in which post partum women with persistent SUI participated in either PFM exercises plus transversus abdominus training or PFM exercises alone.  The original study concluded that addition of tranversus exercises did not significantly increase results as both groups had similar outcomes.  This seven year follow up has the same conclusion and reports on pad test 53% of those tested where still continent seven years after  treatment.  Long term studies provide evidence of the impact of our treatments.
